My Xbox one story so far PLEASE READ

Basically the time has come for me to post this message and its hardly positive. First before i say i am a huge gaming fan i live it and breathe it and when the xbox one first got announced i was so excited the promises of better graphics, dedicated servers,
better matchmaking, kinect with hand gestures and voice recognition, apps galore plus xbox one only games such as ryse, DR3, forza. So the day came i got my day one edition xbox with fifa and also bought COD ghosts so got home took it out and i was very pleased
graphics werent out of this world but i could see improvements so i was happy overall i had the feel of a new console and controller everything was going great i purchased Dr3, AC BF, battlefield 4 and couldnt get enough xbox. Then the problems started first
of all it was the connection about 2 months time i would near enough every game of cod it was lagging and when the dlc got released i kid you not it didnt lag at all but when it got to night time itg ot really bad and after that it stayed the same so it got
so bad that i traded it in because theres no point and having a game that cant play!!!. Fifa 14 was exactly the same fine no lag and two months started but the difference was that only the ultimate team side of the game was lagging everything else was fine
so took the necessery steps to try and fix the problem i even contacted EA which the guy said that it was my fault and all he would do is send me a troubleshooting email and thats all he was prepared to do in which i hanged up in disgust. So i came to a conclusion
that at the start no lag and a month or 2 later it started to lag, in my opinion or should i say only explaination is that when the xbox 1st came out not as many people owned one until christmas came and lots of people get one and boom so many people online
which makes sense, also just to note i did call my broadband provider it was obvious do and also this was my opinion at the time. So as you can tell at this point i was very very frustrated and very stressed the first question that came to mind was can this
get any worse and unfortunatly it did, my disc drive stopped reading discs and found that i had to keep putting discs in and out about 15 to 20 times no exageration, so enough was enough and was on the phone to microsoft and when praise is due i have to give
it because during the time the advisors were so helpful and explained everything about problems they were having with disc drives and how the xbox replacement service works and also i got free game ryse for the inconvience so i wasnt happy about what happened
but on the flip side i was treated very well got a free game and had my new xbox one within a week so happy days. Now heres a general problem when xbox one was announced we were told that the matchmaking will be improved so that you would play with people
who match your skill level and match the way you play and this was honestly a very KEY thing for me because on 360 i complained over and over about the people i played with im not a cruel person its just fact for example this very day i hadnt played titanfall
in a while because it got a bit repetitive fast now im 6 generation pilot level 42 today i turn it on i get matched with 5 people who not one over level 8 not one person and the opposing team everybody above 9th generation and it was the same for cod ghosts
if i went for a game no doubt i would find the noobiest of the noobs but the funniest thing about this is that i would always do well kills well over deaths but the problem is would get a loss 95% of the time, now on titanfall this is fact if me and just one
of mates are at the top off our games we will win 95% of the time we could actually pull the team through but if its only 1 off us that are playing theres really no hope especially on cod where theres killstreaks you really get punished for having a bad team.
Theres a lot to take in a know thanks for keep reading, now im just gonna skip a few things because iv been at this for a bit now so i will skip other things that have happened during my xbox one experience and tell you im pretty bored now E3 was a massive
dissapointment for me every game announced i already knew about i watched it live on xbox just waiting for something explosive to be announced and waited and waited but no avail dont get me wrong seeing the gameplay and hearing how passionate the developers
are were for me the only positives to come out E3. Well thats my xbox one story and to be honest im living in a bit of fear at the momment as my disc drive is starting to show symptoms of the last one. Thanks for reading this i had to get this off my chest

thoughts on Xbox One

So far, I've been enjoying my Xbox One & its games. There's a few minor issues, but nothing truly game or console-breaking outside of Battlefield 4. If you'd like a more in-depth story of my experiences, you can read about them

Sorry iv missed something very important and i mean no disrespect by saying this but it has to be said and thats for microsoft to grow some balls so to speak. Now im not stupid your organisation has put a lot of money into creating, distrubuting and advertising
the xbox one but 1. To keep up sales to match ps4 you are now selling xbox one without kinect which im sorry but without the kinect in my opinion the xbox one will not have that new console feel my friends have ps4s and there opinion has is that im so lucky
that i stayed with xbox they feel the new playstation is like just an upgraded ps3 nothing special to shout about except 1080p and more powerfull system, now to sell xbox one without kinect is is just buying a xbox 360 +1 me and friends agree. Now your xbox
boss phil spencer has stated people will eventually buy a kinect but in my opinion they wont i dont expect people to spend money on something they dont need how hes got that idea i dont know, i mean for example i go to a mercedes garage see a $80,000 car buy
it and the sales person tells me that if you throw in an extra $1000 we will give you a spoiler then anyone with half a brain will say no because your not a race car driver you just want to get from A to B in luxury you dont care that with aero dynamics its
possible to go 2mph faster same principal applies if you dont need it why buy but what i think i know is that phil spencer will target kids and not in a dirty way but fantasia is coming out soon a disney game for kids so i would put a bet on most kids games
to be advertised with kinect it just looks inevitable. Also obviously i dont know how microsoft runs as a company how it makes profits but what i do know that phil spencer could i have just put kinect to death unless something is done really well to target
adults. Sorry phil for being so critical but has to be said i mean im struggling to find a job and have so many great ideas for xbox and your on mega bucks. Gd luck phil i wish u well

 

Only smart people will see that the Kinect is a must have also i read everything else but didnt really feel liking replying about everything so i chose one thing

 

Lol i can understand but i do totally 100% agree that kinect is a must have.

 

I would have read the post but wall-o-tests are difficult for me to read.

To comment on Vincent's reply though. Only smart people realise that not every one likes motion control, or that others may not have the space to effectively use it.

People who claim that Kinect is a must have for everybody think they are smart but in reality are just ignorant.

 

FYI -- You don't have to apologize for being critical of Phil Spencer. No one from MS/Xbox is going to read your message here.

 

@Agent Monaghan Ow that hurt ;( when the first Kinect came out i didnt have room to use it would always be way to close to it but i still believed in it but eventually i decided to move thats when i had room to play it oh and i never consider myself to
be smart i prefer being just odd and weird haha

 

I couldn't read all of that, but I will say that I see no feasible point in using kinect. If you can enlighten me on how I should actually purchase kinect, please do so, because voice commands and hand gestures are not worth the money they ask for it. Also,
there hasn't really been any great games for it. Kinect to me, is not a must have at all.
