My Xbox one says the cache is nearly full.

The first thing to do is check this support site, What's new xbox one system updates to see how far
out of date the OS of your console is and update the console OS.

The minimum network speed for XBox Live connection is

For online gaming:

• Minimum download speed of 3 Mbps (or 3,000 Kbps)
• Minimum upload speed of 0.5 Mbps (or 500 Kbps)
• Ping of less than 150 milliseconds

Run the network tests in Settings>Network settings to check your connection speeds.

If you meet the requirements, update your System OS. If not check with a friend and update the system with their network at their house.

Troubleshoot network connection speed may assist you further.

simply unplugging will not work.

try the following:

1. power up the console

2. keep the power button on the console pressed, till the console shuts down

3. when all light on the console and on the powersupply are out, unplug the powersupply

4. wait for 30 seconds

5. plug in the power supply

6. keep your fingers crossed, it's normal that the boot will take more time than usual

7. check if the problem still exists

Hey thanks for coming to us with this issue. Cache clear is simple, console must be on. Hold the power button on the console for 10 secs, the console will shut off. Wait an additional 5 to 10 secs then turn on console it will reboot and you should be free
to play. I hope this was helpful.

So, soft reset cleared the cache but deleted my save game.
