My xbox one said i need a gold membership

Try if the following makes any difference to your situation:

Rremove your profile from the Console, Power Cycle after that in the following way:

- Press and hold the white Xbox Button on the Console itself until it shuts off. Unplug the power brick from both sides. Wait 2 minutes. Replug and restart.

and after that readd your Profile to the Console.

Hi my older son had an xbox one with xbox live gold my younger son has xbox 360 and want xbox live.. I have rang xbox they said i only need one membership is this right and can they play at the same time on one membership? hope this make sense

360 games don't need an active gold membership if bought with games with gold

It is only xbox one games with gold that work that way like theory said

Unlike psn you don't need an active membership for psn plus to download games with gold 360 games

As long as you queued it while it's free it's yours

I need help also my gold membership just renewed and it says I don't have it on my xbox one I can't access xbox music or any of my apps that require gold membership

I think it will be the same system as it is now if you have multiple xboxes. The big difference is that only one account on each Xbox needs to have a gold membership for all accounts on that Xbox to he able to play online and experience Gold.

And my understanding is also that there will be no change for 360 but only to gold accounts on Xbox One.

But as I said, this is just the way I've understood it.
