My Xbox One S won´t turn on with my controller

Greetings,

I have a really weird situation. I came back home after spending Christmas with relatives. I took my controller with me, and I used on another Xbox One S console with no issues. My surprise when I got back home I plug in back my console and used my controller,
it didn´t turn on first time I try to turn it on with my controller. After turning on xbox one s by pressing the button, I sync back my controller. That day I played several times and I was able to turn on the console with the controller several times on that
day, BUT if the console is not turn on for a while (like more than 20 hours), then the controller won't able to turn on the console, the "X" on the controller will just keep flashing. It is annoying, I have to go press the power button on the console itself,
then I am able to shut down and turn it on again. Till tomorrow night when after a while I cannot use the controller again...

I did unplug the console for 30 seconds and plug again... And my console is Instant Mode. I have to say this never happen to me before holidays and it is driving me crazy. I loved my Xbox One S.

Xbox won t turn off

hi my xbox one s won t turn off it stays on standby

 

My Kinect can hear me, but I can`t use voice commands.

My Kinect are able to hear me, but it won`t respond to voice commands. I tried my Kinect with Skype, and I were able to speak with others, so the microphone isn`t faulty. But my problem is that it won`t respond to voice commands like "Xbox On", "Xbox go
home" ....

Any idea what`s wrong?

 

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test
the results.

Hello, unfortunately suddenly this afternoon my xbox one s didn't turn on again using the controller, I am putting it back to energy save mode, in that way it seems to work perfectly. I am wondering what is the problem? Why just after the last update everything
change...

 

Hey there BlinxESP!

To check, do your have any USB devices plugged into your Xbox One? If so, try removing those and power cycling your console. If you're still having trouble, try replacing the batteries on your controller to see if there's any change. Let us know

 

Hello! Well I discovered something. If my xbox one s is connecting to my other router everything is fine XD... It is just weird. This happens since I got a new router at home, I changed back my xbox one s to my previous router and it is working just perfect.
I stayed two days without turning on and I tried again today and it turned on using my controller! Great! Now, please someone explain me how is this even possible? XD

 

Hard to say, sounds like the power supply needed time to reset which will happen when the console isn't turned on or plugged in. That might have been what fixed it. Either way, glad it's working now!
