    My xbox one s wont detect my wifi


    My xbox one s does not want to detect my wifi signal. It detects all other wifi signals except our home wifi signal. I have reset and even unplug both the router and xbox and the issue was not solved. I have done a hard reset and wiped my whole console and the issue is still not resolved. I have also moved my xbox closer to the router and still no signal. I have two wifi extenders and it does not detcet those either. It has worked before and i cant figure out what the issue is please help.

    Based on the information you provided, I would like to ask if you tried:

    A. In case your router works with both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz, disable the 5 GHz network and attempt to search your home network after that.

    B. Change your home Wi-Fi SSID to a different name.

    C. Change the security type of the password for your home network. For example, if you use WPA3, set a WPA2 password and try again.

    D. Try to manually enter both the SSID and password of your home network. This option is available at the end of the list of Wi-Fi networks your console found.

    Apart from that, I would like to ask, does connecting the console to the router or Wi-Fi extender with an Ethernet cable works, or even that way you don't have internet?

    Additionally, is your console enrolled in the Xbox Insider program?

    What specifically would allow the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter to connect while the built-in wifi would not?

    My Xbox 360 S detects a wireless signal with 4 bars, and I am testing it while sitting it right next to the modem, so there is no issue with signal strength.

    My Xbox 360 S's built-in wifi is able to connect to a hotspot, and it is even able to connect to my neighbor's wifi from my house.

    Just wanted to clarify again that my Xbox detect every other Wifi network, but does not detect a mobile hotspot wifi.

    yes i have done all the above..if i have it connected via ethernet it is fne but when i go to use the wifi it wont work,,says console is connected but when i try to access my games says a connection error,,, does it on my series s and my xbox one s .. and a friends series x is doing it

    okay so i just got back from vegas and i had got a new xbox one s digtal when i got to cali i tried to set up my xbox and there was a wifi problem i cant see a list of networks it just says add wireless network i did that and i typed my ssid and it says
    your security protocol wont work so then i reset my xbox and when it says updating but then it says you need wifi for this and i try to connect to the wifi but it still says your security protocol wont work
