My Xbox one s powers on but no video on tv and console powers itself off after 20 seconds.

Just to test this further, can you please try a different HDMI cable or a different TV?

Also, please perform a reset on your internal power supply by following the steps below:

"1. Unplug the mains lead from the console.

2. Wait 10 seconds.

3. Plug the cord back into the console, and then press the Xbox button  on the front of the console."

Try this to see if it helps with your controlling loser sync.

Eject any disks in the console.

Hold down the Xbox logo on the front of the console for 5 to 6 seconds until it beeps and turns off.

After it is powered off, unplug the power from the back of the console itself. Wait 10-20 seconds. Plug the console back in and power it back up.

Re-sync your controller and continue playing.

That sure doesn't look right. You can try resetting your xbox video settings by following the below steps:

1. Power down your Xbox One by holding the power button on the console for 5-10 seconds. You'll need to keep the power button held down until it's completely turned off.
2. Turn the xbox back on by holding both the disc eject and power buttons for at least 10-20 seconds. Keep both buttons pressed until you hear a second chime. Don't let go of them until you do.

This should reset the video settings on the console back to their factory setting of 640x480 resolution.

You'll need to head in to the settings after and adjust the default to the best resolution your TV can support.

If your picture is still not as expected afterwards, you may need to consult the manual for your TV to make sure alternate settings haven't been activated on the TV itself.

When you have restarted the console, have you done a true power-cycle? To do this, press and hold the power button on the face of the console for several seconds, holding it down until the console shuts itself down. After it being off for 15-20 seconds,
restart it and try to launch the game again.

Have you cleared the system cache? Hold down the power button for about 10 seconds or until the Xbox One turns off. After the console is off, unplug the power from the back of the console itself and let it sit for 30 seconds. Plug the console back in and
power it back up, it should take about 45 seconds to power on to the Home menu. Launch your game and see if it works.
