    My xbox one s likes to shut itself down while booting up sometimes.


    Hi, some days i power my xbox one s on and it will shut back off after a few seconds, this does not happen all the time, and i think i know the possible reason.

    I read that a setting called "instant on" or something like that can cause the xbox to try using more power to turn it on, and what i think is happening is the outlet it is plugged into is for some reason not supplying enough power, and i read that it is a good idea to turn it onto "power saving mode" which would make it take longer to load up, but less power to be used.

    I just need some confirmation about this theory before i try it incase that i still run into this issue again.

    Kinect & Controller Issues.

    I seem to have solved it!

    With having my Xbox One on "Instant On" boot up settings, while shutting down my xbox, and turning it back on again my Kinect & Controller functions didn't boot up properly. I switched to "Energy Saving", turned my Xbox One off, and booted back up and everything
    works perfectly.

    I suggest people switch to "Energy Saving" rather than "Instant On" since this isn't the first time problems have occurred because of this. Hope this helps!

    Also Mister Mascot I don't think you fully understand what my console is doing... It is not in between shutting down and looking for an update at all!!! It has actually shut down completely and turned off all my devices!!! Then it will just boot up as if
    I hit the power button in turn booting up all my connected ir blaster devices!!! So hopefully now that will explain to you why when it boots back up it turns in the tv, surround, and cable!!! It's because it was OFF, and then it turns itself back on!!!

    Troubleshoot

    Try a complete cold boot. While the system is powered on press and hold the power button until the system shuts itself down. When you press the power button again the system will completely reboot. This often clears up any weird cruft jammed up in the
