My Xbox one s keeps freezing and I can’t use it

Ever since i reseted my xbox one s a couple months ago its been laggy and most times it wont even get past the green loading screen and would freeze at that screen for hours without end but when it did get past the green loading screen it would freeze
at the login screen or when i open the menu and would freeze and stay there without end any ideas on how i could fix this problem?

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your Xbox One S is having trouble getting past the green loading screen, and it is reacting slowly when you do get to the main menu. We recommend

power cycling the console by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. If this does not resolve the issue, we suggest performing

a soft factory reset. This type of factory reset will keep all games and applications installed, but it will remove all the profiles from the console. Be sure to let us know the results

Hey thanks for the response ive tried it but now the xbox wont connect to my tv i tried pluging in another old console but that one connected instantly. Thanks for your help anyway.

Offline System Update to continue troubleshooting this issue.

My Xbox keeps freezing during games is an Xbox one s and every time i try to play the division or forza horizon 3 the game will freeze and the game will quit or the Xbox will turn off entirely. Im pretty annoyed with this as I cannot play my expensive games
for more than 15 minutes.

please help.
