    My Xbox one s keeps disconnecting from my controller


    My Xbox keeps disconnecting my controller(Xbox brand) every 30 seconds. I have checked for software updates on both my Xbox and controller and it still did not work. I tried restarting them, it didn’t work. I tried resetting my Xbox, also did not work. I found that it’s not a controller issue because I bought a brand new one (also Xbox brand) and it’s still disconnecting. I have tried re-pairing the controllers to the Xbox and it didn’t work. I don’t have anything plugged into it besides the cables to run it to my tv. I have tried troubleshooting again for the past few hours and nothing seems to work. This has been going on for three months.

    Kindly try and perform a powercycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    Also, if you can try and reposition your console that will be great as well. Make sure that there will be no wireless interference.
