    My xbox one s isn't turning on


    Ive been playing a few games recently and leaving my xbox on overnight, one of the games was sonic frontiers and it had been on for at least 2 and a half days straight (i have an xbox one s so that could be the problem). Im unsure iwhat the problem is. Ive tried a power cycle (i think thats what its called, when you press sync power on and eject and that stuff) and i also tried unplugging everything and plugging it back in which didn’t work. The xbox makes a electrical buzzing like noise and plays the start up chime but doesn't actually turn on or light up at all. I also tried eject mashing and i dont have any xbox controllers connected bc i have been using remote play for quite some time. If anyone has any suggestions on what i should try please send them

    Hello Kerrigan, try to connect your console to another electrical socket in your residence, and also try to experiment with another power cable, if it still does not turn on, the ideal thing would be to send your console to the Microsoft warranty.

    I tried this out but it did not work so i think im going to try get someone to check the inside. I got this xbox for christmas in 2017 so i doubt it has warranty still

    I'm having a similar issue, my Xbox One S isn't turning on. Everytime I press the button it turns on and it jingles, but then a second later it turns off and it jingles again. Anyone know what's going on?

    Sorry to hear about the issue with the console not turning on. First off got a question, are you in the preview program? If you could please unplug it completely leave unplugged for about 5 minutes. Then plug it all back in and try if the console still doesn't
    turn on you will need a repair. You can set up a repair one of two ways:

    • You can go to
      Device support
    • You can
      Contact us       when you get to step 2 select no thanks and step 4 request a call back from support.
