    Yes I replaced my xbox one s stock fan with an aftermarket one everything is working but I’m having trouble updating the system to the latest update 7/5/2018 I did everything xbox one system update solution and no update should I reinstall the stock disc
    drive? Like I said everything is working.

    Console fan noise

    This issue could just be a normal fan running in your xbox one,or it could be the disc drive

    anyone know what the clicking noise is on my Xbox one S? Think it could be a fan or hard drive but definitely not disc reader. It’s about a month out of warranty. Thanks

    So I decided to reinstall the stock disc drive and updated my console but I have more gb storage was this from the update? Did the July 2018 update free up space?My console is running fine now with the new fan btw.

    Is the Xbox One S still made and being sold?

    for warranty replacements etc, they still make them and sell them but it is entirely up to retailers if they want to stock them, if there is no demand then it is pointless stocking them, they only make the one s with the disc drive the one s digital stopped production the other year.
