My Xbox one s is not letting me install or update minecraft.

Previously I tried to play minecraft with friends and it wouldn’t let me connect to realms at all, even after 2 hours of troubleshooting.

I even tried uninstalling the game which it wouldn’t let me do at all.

Every time I turned on my Xbox it would just be ‘updating’ and stay like that until I turned the Xbox off.

I finally got it to uninstall because I believe that it has been messing with other game data I have which I frustratingly found out after working for two hours in power wash simulator only to have my progress wiped, but now it won’t install no matter what I try.

When trying to install it will let me click the install button but even after an hour nothing has changed, and when going to the Microsoft store page of minecraft it just tells me that the game is unavailable on my console.

I just want to have minecraft on my Xbox and not have to worry about it crashing the system causing progress wipes of whatever I am playing at the moment.

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

I have tried all 3 options above but still an issue.

For me, the installation is stuck on 0% and I can’t cancel or pause it, nor can I update anything else. I can’t uninstall Minecraft either. Also, in storage setting, it states there is 0 saved data for Minecraft, I’m not sure if this is an issue. I have years of progress I don’t want to lose.

Is there anything else to try?

The download doesn't start at all, no error messages, it just doesn't start

I've checked my storage and it's pretty empty, and there are no system updates that I need to install either

I was able to download power wash simulator flawlessly when the game was just in updating limbo but haven't tried to download anything since uninstalling Minecraft which I will try tonight

I also have made sure that my game pass subscription has been fully paid for

The trouble shooting I've tried was just to restart the console and the game when trying to play it originally, including hard resetting it, ive also tried reconnecting to the wifi and restarting the router as well

I've done everything that I can think to do at this point

Update!!! I restarted my Xbox twice, first time it daud finishing up, and the second it finished, but I'm still skeptical if it'll work fully...

I tried this but it's just stuck at 100%, and that it's ready to start, but when I load in I can't access the market place, load characters, or play at all as it says my storage is full despite having about 30% storage left, I'm not sure what is happening but some information would be great, otherwise I'm stumped on what to do...
