My Xbox One S is making weird noises when turned off, and on

My xbox one s makes a loud loud noise when start up it stops for about 30 sec and then comes back I try to turn it off but when the xbox is off it is louder than when it was on and now i cant use it for now sometimes i turn it on and it doesn’t make the
noise but if i turn it off then again in 1hour or 2 then it does it again.

I think it is a definitive hardware problem. Try with some compressed air in the back and side.

But if S is brand new than it is probably the fan. Since is new, return it and take the new one. I know nobody wants to go through the process of installation again, but as sooner you do it, sooner will all this be behind you. Wish you the very best.

Thanks, but... It's not that nice to install everything again, and i dont really want to return in to the shop because i've read on the network that they make a bad case out of the return, like take it for one day, do a factory reset and give it back exactly
how you gave it to them, or refuse the return, but i payed for a warranty...😑

I would say make sure your Xbox One is not being restricted of airflow and us in a well ventilated area. Check out theHow to
position and ventilate your Xbox One console. It could be the fans just kicking in after a heavy gaming session where the Xbox is not getting enough air.

If your console is new, keep an eye on it as it could be a defect. You could return back to the retailer you purchased it from or make a claim under your warranty via Device
service and replacement.
