    So my xbox is humming I have a rgb ssd connected to it and instant on is enabled and it's not coming from my ssd what is happening?

    Console wosshing noise

    A "wooshing" noise, like gusts of wind? For the Xbox One X, this is normal, because it has a different kind of cooling system compared to the original Xbox One and Xbox One S.

    My One X typically runs at a quiet hum, but when I'm playing enhanced games for example, I occasionally hear my console revving up the fan with a "woosh" to expel all of that heat, then it goes back to quiet for a while.

    Xbox One S won't turn off

    Hi, I have the console in energy saving mode, so it should switch all the way off. But instead I'm hearing a slight humming noise after I turn it off. Is this normal, or does it sound broken to you? Thanks.
    Thanks for that info. To check, is the humming noise consistent or does it stop after a few moments following a complete power down of your Xbox One S console?

    Also, is the console plugged into a wall outlet or power strip?

    Are you experiencing any performance issues with the console?

    System Problem ?

    I have the Xbox 360 slim Halo Reach Edition. It hums for the most part, but hums louder when it reads games, and hums normally on Halo Reach, Halo 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. It has also hummed
    when I have played installed games such as Minecraft.

    On a side note, when i unhooked all my cables from my console to clean the dust, I heard something like rattle or a piece on the inside move around.
