    My Xbox one S goes dark whenever I launch a game


    So my Xbox one S has been going dark whenever I launch a game in a disc. I have power cycled it, reset it, cleaned it, turned the WiFi on and off but nothing works. I got assassins creed Valhalla yesterday and a Microsoft support employee asked me to try games that are digitally downloaded and they worked. So I just bought assassins creed digitally and it still goes dark. What should I do?

    I understand you need help on your Xbox problem.

    Try to check if night mode is being turned on and just turn it off.

    Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.

    Go to Profile & system > Settings > Accessibility > Night mode.

    Try to reset the console if that does not help.

    NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

    No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Settings.

    3. Select System.

    4. Select Console info

    5. Select Reset console.

    6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

    This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

    Try to go to the settings of the game as well to see if you can adjust the brightness from there.

    Also, whenever I am launching a game it goes into offline mode. I forgot to include that. However, I do have access to my friends list and it does say I am connected through my internet and xbox live on my Xbox one.

    I am having an issue where Forza H3 is looking too dark when HDR is checked on my Xbox One S.

    I have a Samsung JS9000.

    If I turn HDR off the screen goes brighter immediately

    thank you fo replying good sir. but no im not haing any issues just curious why sometimes it says that ive been logged in and other times it does it by itself without alerting it (whenever i launch 360 games on my xbox series s of course)

    Well first there is no series s with a bluray drive

    Xbox one s does and that isn't a series s

    Xbox one games are compatible with xbox one games whenever it is one x or s

    Series consoles are just xbox series NOT one s or x

    They labeled series consoles that way for a reason to differentiate xbox one games from series games
