    My Xbox One S doesnt Play Games, any ideas why not?


    I got an Xbox One S 500GB.

    Did factory reset, and added my account. Downloaded Digital Forza 4 and updated it. When launch only get splash screen for about 10 seconds and then back at Home screen.

    Installed and updated Fallout 4 (disc game) , and same, get splash screen for about 10 seconds and nothing else.

    Installed Bluray player app, and watched a DVD and later 4k bluray, plays fine no issues.

    Any idea why does it not play games at all?

    Things ive tried so far:

    Power Cycle (off-unplug-on).

    Reset console , install from scratch.

    Next thinking of doing a manual system reinstall via USB ? Any ideas ?

    Had a go at the offline USB update and no luck , same thing still.

    So ive tried the power cycle, then did restore factory settings. Then i even tried the install from usb the update. does it all but doesnt play games. Okay minecraft did start, and in game about 20-30 seconds then freezes. But menu ect works.

    Im wondering if its a HDD problem or some chip is dying?

    By the photos you send it's looks like a problem with the console. You wil need to send it to repair with Microsoft support.
