    My Xbox One S doesn't load games.


    Anytime I load a game up, it takes FOREVER. When I do finally load in, I press play or ready up, and I'm met with constant freezing and my sound will cut off occasionally. After it's frozen for about 5 minutes, it will crash. I have noticed that this is only the case with games that are big (fortnite, apex). Games like Minecraft work fine with minimal to no freezing.

    Now, what have I done to try to fix this? I've resetted it many times, deleted and reinstalled games, bought a new power cable, bought a new ethernet cable, cleaned dust out of it, resetted my router, factory resetted my xbox, and many other small fixes I've tried, and none seem to work. Can I fix this?

    Thank you for replying. I don't have an external hard drive. The only things plugged in are the power cord, hdmi, and ethernet cable

    I see. If it is only happening to a few games, please report the issue using the Report a problem app so that they can investigate it on their end.

    Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select Store.

    Select Search, and then enter Xbox Report a Problem in the search box.

    Choose the app from the search results, and then select Download.

    Follow the instructions in the section “Report a new problem” to submit your problem report.

    If there is an external hard drive connected to your console, turn off the console then disconnect the external hard drive. Turn on without it and try playing the games. Let me know if it works.
