My Xbox one s device control not working

yes you can connect an Xbox One S/X controller to an android device as long as the android device supports controllers. I know you can do this as I have connected mine to my android device (Amazon fire 10), and it works well. All you have to do is turn
on bluetooth on your device, and go in bluetooth settings and select scan for new device, then with the xbox one s controller, turn it on, and press and hold the sync button until the light on the controller flashes quickly. Your device should find the controller
and pair them together.

The Series S and X controllers work on same devices the earlier controller can connect to. This includes:

Xbox One Game receiver for Windows 10

Bluetooth (PC, Android, iOS)

Xbox One, One S, X and Series X/S.

If it's compatible with Xbox One, it should work with the entire family of devices (Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X). What error message do you get when you attempt to connect the device to the One S? Is it simply not seeing the controller?

I'm sorry to hear that your Xbox one S device control is not working.

Let's try this first. Go ahead and perform a
hard reset and power cycle of your console. Hold down the power button on the console for
about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and turn on the Xbox.

To connect your
Xbox One to your TV, which enables you to control the volume and power of your TV or audio receiver via your

Xbox One, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Settings (Found by pressing the Xbox button and navigating to the right-most column)
2. Select the 'TV &
   OneGuide' menu
3. Click 'Device Control'
4. Select Your TV Brand (available brands are: LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, Toshiba, VIZIO), then click 'Next'
5. Click 'Automatic'
6. Click 'Send Command.' This should mute your TV. If it does, click 'Yes', If not, click 'No'
7. If the 'Send Command' was successful, skip to Point 9
8. If the 'Send Command' did not work, your
   Xbox One will try various signals to figure out your TV model. If this does not work, your Xbox One will ask you to enter your TV model manually. Once you have done that, continue to the next step.
9. Press the 'B' button on your
   Xbox One controller to go back to 'TV &
   OneGuide.' Next, select 'Power Settings'
10. Select '"Xbox One" Turns on my devices' and '"Xbox turn off" Turns off my TV'

You can now command your Xbox One to turn volume up or down, or use the Xbox Smartglass mobile app to adjust volume and turn the Xbox One and TV on and off.

Some TVs may become incompatible due to new updates and features from both Xbox and the TV manufacture.
