    My Xbox one s console won't update


    My Xbox one s console stays at a percentage and no longer progresses

    It stays at 31% and it no longer advances, I thought it was my network but I reset it and when I tried to update it, 30 minutes passed and nothing I try to restore it and it asks me to update it, I update it and it gets stuck

    This is more than likely the power brick has failed. Same thing happened to my x360 and the reason I updated to Xbox one X. Time to update to a new console I suggest.

    Either the next gen Series S/X models or XBox one S/X.

    You won't look back, but will wonder why you didn't update earlier.

    Hi,

    What game or games does this message pop for? Many Xbox One games have updates specifically for the Xbox X. If your Xbox One game has a 4K assets update for example, you'll be prompted to download this when using the drive on the Xbox One X console.

    The Xbox One S and original Xbox One don't support X-enhancements, so you won't be prompted for that update when using the drive on the One S.

    The cable will keep my Xbox one s controller active but the light won't come on and it isn't charging.

    It sounds to me like the controller needs some kind of update to allow the old Xbox one battery.
