My xbox one s beeps but doesn’t turn on

The Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One X and Xbox One S have an internal power supply that works worldwide. If your console won't turn on, it's possible it just needs a power reset. Many times, power problems occur due to the power reset right after a power surge.

To reset the internal power supply, follow these steps:

Disconnect the console's power cord.

Wait 10 seconds.

Plug the cable back into the console and press the Xbox\uE3E3 button on the front of the console.

If the console turns on, the internal power reset worked. Follow this step if the issue happens again.

Make sure the outlet you use works with other devices.

Make sure the power cord is properly plugged into the wall outlet and into the console.

Make sure you are using the power cable that came with your console and that it is the correct cable for your region.

The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start up in low resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).

Note If you have an Xbox Series S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, press and hold the Xbox button  and the Pair button  instead, as your console doesn’t have an Eject button.

In either case, this will start up your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480).
