My Xbox One S beeps and clicks, then completely stops working.

Thank you for keeping us updated. Does the console ever reach the home screen or does it shut itself down every time you start it up? It is possible that a failed system update is causing the start-up issue. We suggest completing

a soft factory reset. This will keep all games and applications installed, but will remove all profiles from the console. Therefore, the email address and password of those accounts must be known before this step is taken. Normally, you would have to access
the settings in order to complete a factory reset. We will provide steps on how to access the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. The troubleshooter will allow you to initiate the factory reset. Be sure to let us know the results!

How to access the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.
   
4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Reset this Xbox. When prompted, select Keep my Games & Apps

I’ve never damaged the console in any way. I’ve had the One S since it came out and i’ve never really had any problems with it ‘till now. What it tends to do is try to start up on the green loading screen, then it freezes. After 5 minutes it just shuts
down.

That sounds like what happens when its not detecting a display source. Also this is the sound it makes if you have spilled water on your console somehow.

1- I would advise you to reset the xbox and leave it unconnected for a while, although for what you are explaining the same should be reviewed by the technical team of microsoft https://support.xbox.com/es-ES/my-account/warranty- and-service / getting-your-product-serviced.

2 - check if it gets too hot to put your hand and have to remove it.

3- In forums I read that you clean the front panel because from there they came this noise although I recommend that you send it to the technical support and review it

Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the
