My Xbox One Rating 2/5

Just wanted to give my opinion on how the Xbox One should be rated

Look: 4/5 I think it looks pretty cool but I feel like the controller port should be controller ports (2 people may need to charge their controller at the same time).

Graphics: 3/5 Most if not all of the Xbone games have been in 720-800p optimal. Whether Microsoft wants to admit it or not.. this is a GPU issue.. Games still look great but this is the beginning of the next gen and the Xbone is already pushing it's limits
on the GPU.. not a good sign..

Controllers: 1/5... This is the part of the Xbox I have had the most issue with.. The USB port is not very good and the cords that plug into it are loose and constantly have me losing connection in the middle of a game. When not plugged in it randomly pauses
games and or randomly loses connection when it has a half battery (has happened to me on multiple controllers)... The controllers have a dead zone problem that is noticeable on multiple games. CoD Ghosts has a horrible dead zone that can really affect your
shot at long ranges. This isn't a hardware issue because not all games experience this but it is on multiple games.

Performance: 2/5 Ok, so the Xbox One was marketed as a one stop entertainment gaming system that was able to do multiple functions at once with ease. It is suppose to have this super duper Kinect that works great. The Xbox has a tendency to freeze when switching
back and forth from multiple apps and requires a hard restart every time. The Kinect works like crap. I am sitting like 3 feet away from it and I have to yell at it to get it to record a clip while I'm playing. I'll be right in front of it and it won't recognize
me.. The whole download every single game thing is stupid unless you are going to let me switch between games without putting the disc in. Not to mention it will go Home at random moments for no reason other than its developed it's own mind and has decided
that irritating the living crap out of me is the thing to do.

Microsoft's response to complaints: 1/5 There have been many complaints about the Xbox One and instead of saying ok we're sorry we put out a system with way more problems than the competition it's a bunch of stuff you would expect from a teenager. Pointing
fingers and trying to down play what a disappointment the xbone is. Let's face it, Xbox has been the leader of gaming since the original and they finally messed up. However, they seem to be acting like they are invincible and no one is going to stop them.
I know it's hard for fanboys/girls to admit that the PS4 has better performance potential and initially has performed better than the Xbox but we can't lie to ourselves and let Microsoft get away with charging us more for less.

Forum Support: 0/5 This is the only reason you are even seeing my ratings for the Xbox One! I went to the forums about the controller dead zone problem mentioned above and instead of responding with "I'm not sure we can help you with that" or "you aren't
in the right spot to ask this" or "we aren't really aware of that problem" or "Sorry you are experiencing problems with something you paid a lot of money for" I get absolutely nothing! The questions below me were answered, the questions above me were answered
but my question received nothing!

If it was just a freeze problem every now and then or a lower graphics problem but everything else was rare or non existent then this wouldn't be a bad system at all but when the only thing I can get a 4 star rating to on a next gen console is the way it
looks then I know it's time to go to Sony. The only reason I haven't gotten rid of my Xbox One and gone to Sony is because I want to become a Pro CoD player and the Pros play on xbox. However, I plan on petitioning for this to change as we continue in this
next generation of gaming and from what I've seen of the Pro's feeds and the complaints they have had about it the petition will probably be met with a lot of support.

Take it leave it, like it hate it. This is my opinion of the Xbox One and their service. 2/5

rating system

Hai..... I am really confused with the rating system....yesterday i am at 1201 and won 2 matches and then my rating was 1207 and today i lost one match and my rating now was 1186( there is no other finished games, i checked in stats and played games)...
for one loss 21 points is too much...i lost 42 points in 2 days for 2 losses............... really annoyed with this...

 

Your opinion, i respect that, my opinion, gpu not maxed out yet, far from it, kinect works fine, no issues. Features are getting added, new management in microsoft so we should start seeing good changes.

 

Seems like a fair assessment of XB1 which is why I do not want one.

 

Umm, there is no "forum support". We're all just average Joe's here. If anyone answered your's (or anyone's) question, it was because they just happened to know the answer.

I never understand why people do these write-ups here. If you're not a regular poster on these message boards, the odds of anyone actually giving a crap what you think are slim to none.

 

Well I think that potential buyers would give a crap. My 360 slim has been awesome. I think I've had it 3 years now and I haven't had one problem with it. Not one tiny issue. I'd give it a 5/5.

Looks: 5/5.

Graphics: 5/5, looks just as good as my other next gen console.

Performance: 5/5. Your going to have to show me that the PS4 has better performance because just by using them I really can't tell there is a difference. My Kinect works great! Sounds like you don't even own a X1, that's my opinion.

Microsoft's response to complaints: 5/5. The one time I had a question it was handled very well!

Forum Support: 5/5, some great people here, also trying to help as best as they know how!

IMO, my X1 gets a 5/5. take it or leave it!

You couldn't continue withough mentioning the ps4 huh? Damn people the ps4 is not a *** flawless diamond. Its not everything. If you want better performance get a PC. Tired of you people complaining. No need to express the biased hate on here. Ps4 is trash.

You saying the PS4 is trash and then claiming that as fact rather than opinion = one of the dumbest things I've read in a long time. That my friend, is a FACT. Point blank. I'll move on now.

 

i Enjoyed my Xbone my problem was with the Microsoft email system as i got locked out of my email Microsoft though they would also lock me out of my XBL account, but i personally hate the xbox ones Message/Chat keyboard the thing is so slow when using caps
lock or back space i often miss letters or type like THIs as caps lock runs out mid word also when you select a letter it has a short delay,.

Other then that i though voice commands could skip the issues everyone else was complaining about the UI, performance is just like the PS4s OVERRATED if you have the money to buy a PC and place it in your entertainment system then you can watch free movies
and TV with out having to say "Xbox play TV" "Xbox play TV" "Xbox play TV" "XBOX PLAY TV!!!" "Xbox Gah *Click*" also the HDMI input seem very dark and can't be edited, you know i started this trying to defend xbox one and i think 2/5 is more then fair i guess
when you think about it.

 

I'm not that impressed with the xbox one and it's the first Microsoft console that hasn't impressed me, I had the previous 2, had a few goes on the one at a friends house and the graphics don't match that of my PS4, I found navigating the dashboard a pain
in the neck and a mess, the ones's controller is not as good as the 360's, I don't understand why they had to change such a good design. I'll stick to my 360, PS3, PS4 and Wii U until the next xbox comes out.
