my xbox one no longer connects to my pc

Hello everyone,

I did as usual, my pc is connected via wi-fi, my xbox via cable,

except that this time for the app xbox companion my console is considered off (while on) and refuses to be connected

I have already restarted both and nothing change

My pc is on Windows 11

if somebody can help me, thanks in advance

Hi Tangi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

After that, try using the game streaming feature again on your PC.

Hi. I have this problem too. I tried all the things you mentioned but it has not worked.

When I log in to the Xbox App - my console shows up briefly then disappears.

Any further suggestions please?

This is how I have connected my remote in the past when I used it with my computer, just by connecting the USB to the computer and into the controller. For some reason this has stopped working though and no longer turns on the remote when I plug it in

I have a Turtle beach Stealth 700 Xbox One and no longer use the console. Every time I power on my headset to use on my PC or phone, it turns on the Xbox, how can I unassign it from doing this or connecting to the Xbox at all? Thanks
