My xbox one nightmare

My problem started when I created a repair order on nov 19th, for my console. So on nov 21 i went to fedex and sent of my console. On nov 28th they got my console so I waited until dec 11, was the exact day i was suppose to get my console back from fedex.
So I waited until I checked online that my package was delivered to my leasing office in my apartment complex. The fedex person didn't even bother to come knock on my door to see if I was home. I was home so I called fedex and was angry at them. Come to find
out, there's a person that works for fedex that lives in my apartment complex. So I emailed my apartment manager to hold my package. So the next morning I am waiting at the leasing office to get my package. So I open the box to get my console, and I noticed
the left side wasn't snapped in all the way. So I fix that problem. I get to hook it up and my drive was making a strange noise. So I waited 22 days to get my console back. And nothing works. So I called microsoft Monday so the tier team is investigating my
case, and I should get an email from them Wednesday of Thursday I tried to do an advance exchange but I lost my credit card. All I want is a new console so I can play my disk games on. I am very upset that I cannot play my brand new game assassins creed unity,
that I bought. I hope ms fix theses blueray drive problems soon, I was told that they gears in the drive aren't in sync, also I heard the xbox one uses a Phillips blueray drive also. I just want a console to play games on that's all I want for Xmas. God bless.

My XBOX ONE Nightmare

I bought an xbox one bundle from Costco online last Monday. It started up to download an update and never turned back on. They sent me another console without any cables, even though they instructed me it would be a complete new setup. The new console wouldn't
boot up either. I've tried power cyclying the power brick etc with an xbox hardware tech over the phone who then told me who was making a ticket for the specialists to handle my situation because they "dropped the ball". I called back 24 hours later to make
sure action was being taken when they instructed me there is no open ticket. They then told me that I need to send the old power cable back before they can send me a new one and reminded me that I will be charged for the second console if it isn't returned
in 15 days. They offered me 3 months of xbox live...like I even want an xbox one at this point.

Issues happen across hardware. I had a PS4 that would get real hot and felt really warm to the touch and would just shut down. So it can always happen.

I have seen the issues you talk of but to a lesser extent. One of my consoles will sometimes ask if I own the game, with the disc, and I have to turn the console off to eject.

I had a controller that would not stay connected. Worked most of the time but would just randomly quick connecting after I needed a battery change. Same console, another controller, and never happens.

The Netflix disconnect could be the console. But if games and other things are not doing it I would side with it being ISP, Netflix, Both. If you are from a bigger city you never know what the ISP is doing to traffic. My sister found out that her issues
with Netflix was her ISP even though she paid the best connection and they assured her it was not them. I tested the speeds and they were fast. But with Netflix running things would randomly drop off and cause issues. Many times she would have to exit Netflix
and then reload. Happened on their tablets and SmartTV. High traffic times can also cause issues.

I'm not being a smartass.

If I was being a smartass I'd have a moan that I have a bunch of problems with my XBox ONE that no one else has but even though I'm the only one it can't be 'my fault' and then finish it off with "should I just get a PS 4 at this point"?

Probability is an exact science. That's why casinos exist.

In all probability if you can't manage to run an XBox ONE chances are you'll knack your PS 4 also.

In regards to the Xbox One acting weird, I simply unplug it for about for about 5 minutes so that it can do a hard reset

I would trade it in for in store credit at GS and get another console.

They are cheaper now than what they once were, and it's better to lose a few bucks than to have to deal with those issues.

Just make sure to reset everything before taking it to GS.
