    My Xbox One need to be restarted to work properly


    Hi,

    I have no sound and also the controller is not responding after I turn on the xbox from instant-on mode. I have to hold the power button to do a hard reset before I have sound and the controller is working again. Could this be after a recent software update?
    or could it be hardware failure? Have to do this every time I am turning on my Xbox

    Skydrive Crash - Need to be restarted

    I had to uninstall the app, then completely shut down the machine (no 'xbox on' stuff) - then re-install.

    All is fine now.

    Everytime i try to start the App Skydrive it loads and tell me after 2-3 Seconds that it has crashed and need to be restarted.

    Any hints or suggestions?

    Hi

    I suspect there is probably nothing to worry about sometimes consoles just require a hard reset.

    If you are not having to hard reset the console frequently I would not worry about it.

    Thank you for the reply! The problem is that the console actually have to be hard reset every time I turn it on. :/

    Sorry to hear about the issue. If you connect your controller to your console via USB cable, do you still have the issue of your controller not syncing? Also, let's have you try

    factory resetting
    your Xbox One console to see if that helps resolve the issue. You can choose the 'keep my games and apps' option when you do this.

    application loading error

    This can happen when your PC isn't able to connect to the Xbox network properly. You will need to fully restart using the "restart" option on your PC or device. Shut down and sleep functions WILL NOT work- you must choose "restart"

    Let us know if you're still having issues but this should fix it! :)

    Tried all of the following:

    Restarting the xbox, hard restart and unplug to reset, restarted router, restarted modem, called internet company to check if router/modem were functioning properly (they are), checked to see if headset and kinect are both working (they are).

    Not sure what to do next, I've tried pretty much everything. I am confident that all the hardware is working properly, and restarts have not helped.
