    My Xbox One makes a clicking noise during use. I believe that it is due to something wrong ...


    It makes a clicking noise when I am playing a game or app etc... I tried cleaning the console to clear up any dust build up which led to no improvement. I have also transferred my data to an external hard drive hoping that less strain on the console may
    help... no improvement. I have seen numerous posts online about how some consoles make odd noises when it they are on the dashboard using a small amount of power, my console is the opposite. The clicking will last for around 30 minutes (possibly more or slightly
    less) and then will eventually stop and perform as normal. I have noticed no problems with the performance of the console when it happens either, which makes me wonder whether the noise may just be something that the cannot be changed and I shall have to deal
    with. In conclusion, the console is new (I only bought it in October) and would like to avoid the hassle of going out of my way to fix it so any help would be appreciated.

    Why did my Xbox One S beep and click

    it was coming from the hard drive. i did an internet seach and the clicking noise was similar to the "hard drive click of death". A failing hard drive.

    My cousin's xbox one S made the same clicking noise with no beep, the clicking in his xbox was coming from the fan

    Hard disk noise normal?

    No, not completely silent, about 42dB - there is always a slight sound due to the hard drive and fans.

    The annoying noise issue (which I believe is due to coil whine), will make a noise of 50dB when the Xbox is idle, but will not happen while you're playing a game.

    it could just be the hdd clicking, do you have the xbox on quick startup or eco mode if eco mode then it will most likely be the hdd uploading saves or data etc etc, that could explain the 30 min or so times, but if you worried contact support.

    My Xbox One makes a clicking noise during use. I believe that it is due to something wrong with the fan or the hard drive. It usually happens when playing a game/blu ray or using Netflix. the clicking noise continues for approx 30 minutes then fades away.

    It's probably something to do with the fan inside of the xbox, maybe dust or something? Either way the churning noise is most likely due to something either in the fan or wrong with it.

    Yes, if there was a problem during the transaction, Microsoft would send an email informing you that something went wrong. It's really strange, but I believe this happened due to some bug in the Microsoft system, so since the transaction was deducted from your card and the subscription is active, I believe you can rest assured about this.
