    My Xbox One Live Party


    When i go to start a party, it comes up with me in the party but i do not have the profile display picture there it is just a blank grey circle. When i speak i do not know if it is registering because there is no extending bubble around my display picture
    to notify me. When i go to leave the party screen (like unsnap) and go to play my game or whatever, the party chat glitches and it just ends. i also cannot go over my name in the party because it ends it, if i go to invite someone it ends it and so on, can't
    mute or do anything. Last night i managed to glitch the glitched party (lol) so that it worked, but i went to go mute someone thinking my xbox was actually normal and can function properly like it should, and i got booted from the party by my xbox. I know
    Xbox One is probably the worst console known to man, and Microsoft have really *** themselves when their last gen console is actually better than their resent. But i'd like my console to work somewhat properly, i know there will be bugs, but i am fully convinced
    my xbox has every cancer known to man. Someone please help.

    I connected to gold live on my xbox one, joined a party and then turn off my xbox but when i came back and tried to join a party it said that didn't have gold live

    Can anyone help me???

    Hi Chaotic Playdoh,

    Sorry you're having issues with your party UI. I would first trying a hard reset. To do that, with the console on hold the power button down for about 8 seconds until it restarts. After that turn it back on and test again. If that doesn't work try removing
    your account by following the directions
    here    . After it's removed, reboot the Xbox, and try to add your account back. If both of those do not work try doing a factory reset following the directions

    here    . Your game saves should be saved online, however you will need to reinstall your games.

    Apologies for the delay! So I just noticed you are posting from a Silver account, is that the account you are trying to party chat with? Xbox Live party chat requires Xbox Live Gold.

    Is there anyone that uses your console that has Xbox Live Gold? If so, you can use the party chat feature while that user has the Xbox One console set as their home console or you will need to sign up for Xbox Live Gold. You can refer to our

    Xbox One Home     page for more information.

    I agree too. Xbox 360 has Xbox Live Party & Video Kinect. The joy would be partly gone if Skype-Call were to wash Xbox Live Party out as a chat app/feature on the Xbox One. Xbox One should continue the Xbox Live Party legacy/heritage so to mention. I mean
    look at how many people join an Xbox Live Party and love it's name XD :)
