Hi,

been having this problem recently and need some help. seems likes it's pretty similar to me.

My membership says that I have Xbox live gold but every time I try to play online or use a feature that requires Xbox live gold it says, I need to buy an Xbox live gold membership to access this feature.

I have multiple emails notifying me of renewals and cancellations after I had tried to renew, not sure if it's some sorta glitch loop that's gonna add charges to me.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem.

Keep Getting Disconnected From Live and Told to Buy Xbox Live Gold... I Have Gold!!

I am having the same problem. I had to renew my xbox live, so I got a prepaid card and it clearly says here on the website that I am a xbox live gold member, but when I go to play on my xbox, it tells me I need to purchase a gold membership.

Did you find the solution yet?

 

Did you have a Trial membership or paid ? Because i have the same problem, on Microsoft webpage under subscriptions it says i have Gold Trial but the Xbone won't recognize it and won't let me play online...haven't found any fix yet even after factory reset....

 

Make sure you are signed with the same credentials on the XBOX as you are on the website. If that has been verified delete your profile and re-download it. Let us know if that works for you.

 

I am sure that the credentials are the same...and the same regions UK account with UK console...

I just deleted account and re-downloaded it, when i loged in it prompted me the "More with GOLD" offer....and i believe that should not have appead if i already have GOLD active on my account.

 

I am having this problem as well, i have had membership for 7 years and it renews automatically in March, it says i have membership but won't let me download any of the free games for gold members.

Can someone help please.

i have received one month for free from creating an xbox live acount... when i enter a game and i try to enter multiplayer, it sais i have to buy xbox live gold membership. Why?

 

On Xbox One attempt (Hard Resseting) on Xbox 360 (Clear Cache) and Re-Downloading the accounts if the issue proceeds contact Xbox Support for further assistance.
