My Xbox one keeps turning off after 3 seconds of being turned on

Try cleaning the dust out, it could have overheated. If you’ve only had the xbox 2 months, you should be able to return it for a full refund if cleaning didn’t help.

Try to delete the Xbox cookies by keeping the button on the Xbox 5-6 seconds, wait 30 seconds after turning off and turn it back on and check if the problem persists.

Sorry you're having issues with your console. When you say multiple power cords are you referring to power strips? What color is the power supply when it turns off? It could very well be an issue with the Xbox Power Supply which does not cost as much money
as the console to service. See this link for troubleshooting on your power supply. Use the
Xbox Service Center to process repair requests for your power supply and your console.

• Make sure the Xbox One console is on
• Hold the power button for 10 seconds
• The Xbox One should turn off after the 10 seconds, if it has you can then turn it back on
• Check and see if the disc is now being recognized or if the game is in the ready to install list
