My xbox one keeps shutting down randomly

the good news is that it isnt doing this daily, but it is doing it oftwn enough to cause some problems.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue with the console. Is this the Original Xbox One, Xbox One S, or is it the Xbox One X?

You should also consider plugging in the console directly to the wall. The Xbox one has a surge protector built into the power supply. The Xbox one S and X have built in power supplies as well. We don't recommend having surge protectors plugged into other
surge protectors when powering up devices such as the Xbox one.

So check out the link, and try going straight into the wall. Let us know the results!

Thank you for confirming that, for the most part the Xbox One S is going to be the white console.

I would still attempt to go through the
Device Support page just to confirm the consoles warranty. It is possible it could be in warranty and you would simply have to send it in to get repaired.

If it is out of warranty you can still attempt to send in the console for service the only thing is that there would be a fee to send it in out of warranty.

If i remember correctly its a xbox one S (all i can remember is its a white one with a 2TB harddrive).

and i dont think i could even get any work orders done on it since i bought it as a refurbished one from gamestop.
