My Xbox has been ejecting discs while I was playing or when it's off.

Don't know what to do

Game disc ejecting at random

My xbox one console, is ejecting the game disc inside at random intervals through out the day, while playing a game, while using youtube, and even when the console it self is off. I'd like to get some help with this problem,please?

Do you have any USB devices plugged into your Xbox One? Try removing all USB devices if you do to see if there's any change with the eject trouble. If you're still having issues, please make sure your Xbox One is plugged directly into a wall outlet, as power
strips aren't supported and may cause troubles. Keep us in the loop with how it goes!

I have an Original Xbox one, the first model before the one s and one x. This affects my gaming as I think the problem is my disc drive. My xbox wont take or eject discs when I press the eject button, so I cant play games due to this problem

I had the beta for the update but every since the update my XBOX ONE won't read discs right. When I eject it from console it swallows it back in and then I have to press eject again to get it out. It keeps making all these noises and saying my disc is dirty
even though sometimes it reads it just fine. it seems like the only way to play games is to turn off the system and unplug the console from the power cord. It's weird because this is a day one console and I had no problems at all before this march update.

NOTE: The Xbox should be off when you perform these steps.

- Turn your Xbox off

- Press and hold both the bind button and the eject button on your Xbox.

NOTE: The bind button is the one you use to sync wireless controllers to your Xbox, and the eject button is the one you use to eject discs.

- With the bind and eject buttons still held down, press and release the power button. At this time, you will hear a startup chime.

- Continue holding the bind and eject buttons until you hear the startup chime a second time

- Release the bind and eject buttons.

- Select Reset this Xbox from the menu.

- Choose the option "Keep my games & apps"

i have the same problem with my xbox one. i found that if you take the disk out after playing, the xbox will not turn on by itself but you can still here the eject noise while its off sometimes. it still ejects my disk by itself also while im playing a game
sometimes as well
