My xbox one isnt playing my back compatible 360 games that are on the list.

Ive already downloaded and played these 360 games on my xbox on, but now when i put in the discs and try to play them i i get a message saying either ''we need this game disc to play", or "you cannot play this game on this device". Is there something i
can do to fix this?

Are you connected to Xbox Live while trying to play the game?

Have you updated your console to the latest update?

You cant play a xbox 360 game yet only the ones listed on the list since crysis isnt on the list yet

Some games check for compatibility and xbox one is not compatible with 360 games yet nor is the marketplace setup for purchases yet

And no its not checking for xbox 360 only

It checks for hd for hd gamesand tv format

Well the list says Rocky is compatible but my xbox 360 says it isnt

He would have to play a backwards compatible game in order to play with his 360 friends.

Thanks for that, the list of compatible games seems to be lacking most of the ones he likes to play which isnt how the console was sold to us "its great, all of the 360 games can be played on the One"....hmmm
