My Xbox One is not starting up right

    My Xbox One is not starting up right


    My Xbox One has just started not starting up. Every time I turn it on it just gives me the Xbox One logo start-up then a message saying "Sorry, Xbox failed to start press the X button to launch" which doesn't do anything is there
    a server problem or is this a hardware problem.

    I tried unplugging it and re-plugging it and holding the start button on the console for 10 seconds and that didn't work. My account seems to be normal according to the status on this website.

    Thanks for the advice. I was able to get my Xbox started again by restoring its factory defaults using the offline diagnostic tool. Everything seems to be working properly now.

    Before trying the offline diagnostic tool, try holding the logo on your console until it turns off, unplugging the power cord from the back for 5 minutes and trying again. If that doesn't work, I would try the offline diagnostic tool.

    It sounds like you've already tried all the troubleshooting tips on the topic, but you might want to go over them all again here before
    moving forward.

    If nothing works, then you may have to send your console off for repair, visit
    myservice.xbox.com to get started, you may have to register your console first by following the steps on the site.

    I hope this helps, and that you can get your console sorted as soon as possible!

    I find it TERRIBLY coincidental I too am having the exact same behavior today.

    My guess it there had to be a failure in the preview update from last night.

    UNFORTUNATELY when you try to check your internet connection you are informed there is likely a failure in the hardware.

    Considering it was fine this morning before I left, it is likely the background download.

    Sorry to hear it friend but it had been happening a lot if you follow this on the forum. Xbox is denying any responsibility whatsoever but everything I've read and I've been researching it quite a bit, says that your Xbox was interrupted during a hardware
    update not allowing it to boot properly. There is a fix using the offline-system-update tool but good luck it didn't work for me and I've tried absolutely everything. Their response is to send it in for repair, if it's out of warranty to bad so sad for you.
    If it isn't no worries for you. I find it ridiculous that you are required to pay to fix their product that failed by thier update that I never tried to install. It's completely inappropriate and I think this will be the last Xbox system I buy. As much I hate
    to admit it, I think it's safe to the One is One giant disaster
