MY Xbox One is making my TV have a black screen

I dont know where this will post sorry for where ever it ends up. My question is why is this happening? I just bought a new XBOX 1, and now unless i ALWAYS turn my TV on before my XBOX the screen goes black on the tv like a sleep mode. And i cant fix it
with ANYTHING. Unplug the HDMI cable, unplug the XBOX, reset the XBOX with holding the power button on, taking the TV power cord out of the wall! It is only fixed by a nondescript amount of time where it finally just turns on like normal. And when the TV is
black nothing happens i cant change the channel see any control no matter what i do. Its an LG tv that works perfectly normal with anything else. How do i fix this? i found numerous posts with some "black screen of temp death" stuff, but nothing about a reset
of the console not fixing it.

PS How do i post this in the dam general help forums? The drop down menu has 100's of games. I just want to to be posted to a support forum :/

Watch / Record TV with an HD PVR 2 on the Xbox One?

Is there a way to watch TV on the xbox one with the hauppauge HD PVR 2? {tried connecting my cable box to the HDMI in port on the xbox one and had my HD PVR 2 out towards my TV which also is connected to my laptop to get that 2nd screen to record but gives
me a black screen and the only way to watch TV on the xbox one is have it connected to the TV 100% fully}

My 46 inch Philips hd tv or xbox one is not letting 1080p work i go to tv provider output 1080p go to 360 output 1080p switch to xbox one rescales to 720p I tryd switching hdmi cords, ports, manually switching to 1080p just makes my TV screen go black then
returns to 720p

Hello,

I've got the same "2 sec black screen" on my TV (a 4 years old Philips LCD screen). I've tried on another TV (a new LG) and I don't have it anymore.

Same thing for a friend : problem with a Samsung TV, but on a LG one, no more black screen anymore.

It looks like it's a bad compatibility between specific TV and Xbox One.

Do you have any other HDMI devices that display correctly?

My question is...is it the TV because it doesn't sound like its the Xbox One if it works on another TV just fine.....You can also test this by setting up the xbox one on another TV.

The internet mentions something about a firmware update for the TV.....I'm not familiar to guide or make suggestions on those topics. (Searching Hisense TV Black screen problem)

Nah, I'm having this problem on multiple tv's. The only difference is that on MY tv the screen goes black every once in a while and has glitchy lines going across the screen randomly, on the living room tv the screen just never goes to the xbox menu or anything, it just says no signal and nothing happens and on my kitchen tv there are no glitchy lines but the screen goes black like every other second...
