    Fan noise

    I'm noticing a slight buzzing/clicking sound coming from my Xbox One S fan. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? It isn't obnoxiously loud, just very annoying.

    Consoles will typically make some noises. If you feel the sound your console is making is louder than it should be or is abnormal, you may want to explore having it repaired. If that's the route you would like to choose, you can initiate that process via
    the Online Service Center.

    My new XBOX ONE had the small clicking sound coming from the fan so I contacted XBOX support and they told me to unplug it from the surge protector i was using and plug it straight into the wall and the clicking stop.

    Hey there!

    Any unnatural fan noises are something to be concerned about. The sound in the video is an odd one, it almost sounds like the fan is clipping something. If possible, with the Xbox powered off, rotate the fan with your finger and see if the blades catch on anything
    or if the clicking sound is coming from the center of the fan.

    If it's the latter, there's a chance something has worked it's way into the bearing casing/housing. I'd replace the fan/power brick if this turns out to be the problem.
