My Xbox One is connected to my Wi-fi BUT I have no live and my NAT type is Unavailable

Title really says it all, I chatted with xbox support and the person was useless, couldn't give me any more solutions other than resetting everything which I've done numerous times. I've been reading forum posts since Friday and none of them were helpful
so Here I am. HALPPPP MEEEE PLEASSSEEE

Xbox stores Service Alert?

When I test my Xbox live connection I get an Xbox stores service alert. When I choose More info, it gives me a NAT error. The xbox live service status (Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage)
shows all systems green.

And btw I'm using Internet Connection Sharing with the Xbox connected to my laptop using an ethernet cable and my laptop is connected to my Wi-fi. I cannot connect the xbox directly to Wi-fi since it's the old one and doesn't have in-built wifi. I also cannot
connect it directly to the router since the latter is in a different room. I've used this setup before and it worked without any NAT errors.

NAT SETTINGS PLZ HELP!!

I have an iphone 4 and i can use its hotspot wi fi to get onto xbox live BUT how do i change the NAT settings on my phone's wi fi

Hey there -

By "resetting everything" do you mean power cycling your Xbox One console? Try connecting your console to your network via Ethernet cable and see if the issue persists. If so, the next thing to try is to fully reset your home network by unplugging everything
from your router/modem and wait 5 minutes before reconnecting everything.

Hello and thanks for the response... my nat type is set to open and i have tried playing at all times of day. The only thing i can play online is squads. I dont live in a remote region and my internet connection is excellent although it is a wi fi connection...would
this be the problem??

NAT type is "Strict" ... I guess that's the problem?

And with a different Wi-fi (5G with my phone) it didn't work
