My Xbox One home screen fades to a black screen

My Xbox One starts up and signs me in but then it shows the home screen for a second then fades into a black screen. I can still access the side menu and play games but whenever I go to the home screen it fades into a black screen. I tried the cold reset
but it didn't help.

Go to network settings and after that go offline. Restart your console, go online again.

Home screen fades to black.

The home screen shows for about 5 seconds then fades to black...but the guide button still works.

I can navigate the system through the guide button but it's annoying not having a home screen

After playing a game it works for a few minutes but will go right back to fading out again.

 

I'm having this issue as well store does this too.

 

This happened to me about 1 hour ago. Just like you i can still access side menu and play games/apps ects. But home screen fades into black screen.

Glad to know its not just me and on the bright side i can still play games/apps.

 

I just came home and I'm having the same problem. I did a hard reset and unplug it for a few minutes but it still didn't work. This issue needs to be addressed soon please.

 

I had the same problem been searching online for solutions. Found one that worked for me. Turning off the console. Then unplug the console. While unplugged Hold the Xbox power button for 30 seconds. Then you can plug it back in and start it up. Incase I

I left it on a game for a while and it somehow fixed itself. Thank you to everyone who replied and I hope the people that have the same problem find a fix.

 

Hey Guys! This issue should be resolved now. Power cycle the console and give it another shot. Post back and let me know how it goes!
