My Xbox one has been signing me out when I was playing my game and my Microsoft Edge as well

Sorry to hear about the sign out issue. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

• Download Speed
• Upload Speed
• Latency
• Packet Loss %
• Wireless Strength (if applicable)
• Modem Manufacturer
• Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number
• NAT Type

Would you happen to be utilizing the InPrivate browsing tool built into Microsoft Edge? Here is a page with more
information on what InPrivate does. If this feature is not in use, we would like to clarify the following:

• Is there anyone else that uses the console that also has their profile on the Xbox One?
• Are you signed into your profile upon launching Edge when you startup the console?

If someone does share the console with you, it may be possible that they are either clearing out this information themselves by accidentally signing into your account, or you may have signed into the wrong account upon using the app.

This is only to investigate this further, please clarify this for us and we'll be right here ready to respond.

Thank you for the questions. I do not use private browsing at all. There are no other profiles on my xbox one s and there haven't been since the last reset. Mine is the only one. It signs in automatically as I'm the person who uses it.

When it works properly it signs me in on Edge automatically. No one has used Edge but me in the last several months, and mine is the only one which has been signed in. When it isn't working it does nothing at all. It has a blank start page without anything
on it and no way to even sign in. I was able to pull open a search browser and on that page my name is there, so the sign in isn't the issue.

Because of how Microsoft Edge on Xbox has limited memory available to it, this causes the tab to get automatically discarded almost immediately or in a few seconds even if that tab was using less memory. I also discovered a bug in Microsoft Edge that caused my profile to reset when I was closing and restarting Microsoft Edge. I got a message saying my profile had a problem loading, and Microsoft Edge closed shortly afterward. I reopened Microsoft Edge only to get the welcome to the new Microsoft Edge screen to discover that I was logged out of my accounts when the problem happened. It scared me to think that someone had hacked my account.

Still not working, I signed out of twitch both on the app and on microsoft edge on my xbox, but it still persists. When I check twitch and my xbox settings, they both say my account is linked. However, when I go to my xbox dashboard>capture and share>live streaming, it still prompts me with the qr code. When i scan the qr code and authorize again, it just shows me a new one.

I am having the exact same problem with Microsoft Sudoku. I signed in successfully on Jan 6, and haven't been able to sign-in since. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app, can sign-in successfully using Edge and Chrome, can successfully login
to the XBox app, have no issues playing a game of Solitare and having my account reflect it was played via Edge. My Windows 10 indicates everything is current. I am using a Surface 4 Pro.
