My Xbox One Halo edition won't turn on.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Xbox One console. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

I understand that you have already tried to reset the power supply, yet the issue still persists.

For us to isolate the issue properly and determine which causes the problem if it's the console or the power brick, try to perform another power supply reset. Here's how:

Unplug the power cables from the console, electrical outlet in the wall, and power supply.
Wait 10 seconds.

Note: Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step lets the power supply reset. Make sure you unplug the power supply unit from both the electrical outlet in the wall and your Xbox One console.

Firmly plug the power cable back into the electrical outlet and the power supply. Do not plug the power unit into the console yet.

Check the LED light on the power supply. Depending on whether the LED light is on, off, or blinking,

If the LED light is on:

Firmly plug the power cable back into the Xbox One console. Do not turn on the console.

Check the light on the power supply unit to see if it is still on:

If the LED is still on, press the Xbox button  on the front of the Xbox One console. If the console powers up successfully, you’re good to go.

If the LED is not on or blinking:

The power supply unit needs to be replaced. You need to replace the power supply unit if the light is still off or flashing orange.

If your console won’t start up even after you have reset your power supply unit, then the console needs to be serviced.

Note for out-of-warranty consoles: The original Xbox One console is no longer manufactured by Microsoft, nor is the console power supply unit. As a result, out-of-warranty support is no longer available for this particular product.

My halo 3 special edition xbox (2007) won't read it, but my newer xbox (2010) will.

the 2007 reads EVERYTHING but this one game.

Edit: removed the rest cause acting like an *** won't fix the problem.

I understand, in this case I fear it is a more serious problem that will require a repair or replacement of the device.

The power button is non responsive as is seems like there may be no power getting to the console. As soon as I plug the brick into the console, the brick light goes dark. As if it is not plugged into the wall.

I did try the resetting the brick, but the light still wouldn't stay lit after plugging it in.

Try testing your console on another TV or Monitor if possible

Change the HDMI port your console is connected to the tv and also the console itself

Try plugging the console directly into the power outlet, without using a line filter

Try testing the console on another power outlet

- If the problem still persists, try the solution below.

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

- If none of this solves the problem, I'm afraid it will be necessary to take the console in for repair or replacement.
