My xbox one got stuck while updating

Thank you for reaching out. I understand your Xbox initially failed to update and since have been getting a black screen when booting it up. I'd like for you to try bringing up the console troubleshooting menu by doing the following:

e Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, follow these steps:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button and the EJECT button and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

When done correctly, this brings up a menu with a couple options. Select "Reset this Xbox" and choose the option allowing you to keep your games and apps. Let us know if the update goes through this time. Cheers

So it has been few months since i used my xbox one ,today i started it and it asked to update my system then it got stuck at 38% i waited for about an hour with no progress so i had to turn it off . The next time i tried to turn it on using my controller
it started but only black screen appearing every time i turn it on although i can hear it running there is nothing but black screen .

Try a hard reset. Hold the xbox logo on the console for 3 seconds (until it hard resets) and give it another attempt.

tried this but still no positive result i also want you to know that when i try turn on my xbox with controller it starts but the controller keep blinking and doesn't connect to the xbox .

my xbox hdmi keep saying no signal although i can see the xbox is running
