    My xbox one game deleted itself again


    So i download the new call of duty on Sunday and played it a bunch and today it uninstalled itself after I switch to online then it says i need to update it and i did but then it makes me download the full game again, this happened to my gta v also idk why
    it is doing this i have 180 gb space left

    canceling an update will delete the full game.

    That's just how it works.

    just trying to understand , I have been playing sea of thieves (SOT) for a few months now and the new cursed sails came out so I was doing the update and it froze for a solid 20 mins so I paused it and resumed it and still frozen so I cleared que expecting
    it to get rid of the update for me to then click on SOT to initiate the update again but instead it just deleted the whole game , so I’ve now have to sit through 3 hours reinstalling it while my team mates play

    same thing happened to me just now but I have a hard copy of the game and it’s marking me do a 43 gb disk download and a 11 gb network download. Not sure what’s going on with it

    Was the game installed to an external drive that is perhaps not showing as installed? If so, you may want to unplug it, leave it unplugged for a few, then plug it back in to make sure it reconnects to the system.

    Interesting. I would try doing a reset of the console first.

    Press the Xbox button > go to Settings > select Restart Console > select Yes
