My Xbox One Game Chat Is Not Working

For a couple months now, my game chat hasn’t been working properly. I usually only play Fortnite and Overwatch and it doesn’t work for them. In Fortnite, when I switch to game chat from an Xbox party, it doesn’t automatically put me in Fortnite’s party/game
chat, and if it does, I can only hear some in the lobby but can’t talk. The only way I can make it work is if I start an Xbox party, go to Fortnite’s voice chat tab, and press X to join the game chat. So I have to be in an Xbox party to be in the game chat.
Secondly, in Overwatch, whenever I join game chat and go to team chat or group chat, I can neither hear others nor talk. Also, for some reason, random team members/group members will show up as muted even though I haven’t muted them and they haven’t either.
I can deal with the Fortnite game chat problems but on Overwatch, I’m completely unable to talk to team members unless they’re in an Xbox party with me. I’ve gone through the settings and tried to troubleshoot the issue. For both games, the voice chat is on,
mic is always on, and the volume for voice chat is 80+. I’ve also gone into the Xbox audio settings and everthing is normal. Is anyone else getting this problem, is it just a defect in my Xbox, and how can I fix it?

I tried everything it said on the website but it still didnt work. My settings were already on adult

So Far The Chat With THe 7.1 Does Not Work With The Xbox ONe. The Audio Works Perfect For Any Game With The One. No One Currently KnowS If The Chat Could Work With THe One It Could Be The Xbox Is Not Responding To THe Headset. Either The Xbox One Needs
An Update To Allow This Or The 7.1 Needs An Extra Piece ThaT Allows The Chat To Work.

Same problem for me. I have been playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and I cant seem to get game chat to work on my Xbox One S consle, but heres what confuses me. For my consle, game chat is not working. But when I went to my dads house, I used the same controller
and batteries and mic and account and he also has an Xbox One S consle but somehow it worked. My game chat used to work for my consle but it all of a sudden stopped. No change in settings were made, game chat just stopped working. No matter what i do i cannot
get it to work again. I hope this issue can resolve itsself. Anyone got tips?

I have the turtle beach px5 and use to work with my xbox one buht ever since this early preview update for oct. it stop working for the chat.. when im in a party or game chat no one cant hear me.. Please this problem fixed asap cuz i cannot chat with any
of my friends and its really getting annoying and frustrating.... Its not working for skype either...
