    My Xbox one from 2014 won’t pair with button or wire


    I’ve had this Xbox since 2014 and it’s held up, but I came back from a visit and had to repair my controller, the Xbox won’t pair and the controller paired on other xboxes, iv tried power cycle and wired connection, please help me.

    I have an Xbox series 2 elite controller. That controller will not stay synced to the consul, and the charging port in the front is not working.

    And it will not pair with the Xbox. It won’t stay paired unless it’s plugged in.

    Have you tried connecting the device an alternative method? Wireless/Wired? Tried pairing the controller again using the button at the top; if not to pair with another device to test, but at least see if the Xbox button starts flashing like it should?

    I would recommend disconnecting cables and batteries from the controler for about 10 minutes or so, and try to start the process anew, and see if that helps resolve the situation.
