    My xbox one frequently crashes on boot


    This seems to happen at least once a week when I turn on my console. It started happening within a week of picking up the console back in early November 2014.

    I most frequently turn on my xbox one with my harmony remote via IR (also the same for turning it off), though I have experienced the issue using the controller to turn it on.

    I do not have kinect. I do have the "instant on" setting turned on, and all options for it checked. Instant on seems to be the exception, most of the time I have to wait for the whole bootup sequence.

    I see 3 different failures. Sometimes it is a plain black screen. Sometimes I get a black screen with two white xbox logos, one smaller logo top right, one larger logo center of screen. The most interesting (use to be funny, but that has worn off) is the
    "sorry screen" as I have dubbed it. Link to "sorry screen": http://puu.sh/fjefT/b023fcf515.jpg. The frequency of the 3 failures feels about the same, but I haven't bothered to keep a tally.

    I've tried using the power button on the front of the console to turn off and turn back on, that mostly result in another one of the three failures. Most of the time I have to resort to unplugging the power, and plug it back in, to get the console to successfully
    boot.

    Anyone seen this issue? Any known fix? Can I give microsoft some error logs to work from?

    Me and my friends pubg crashes frequently

    Our games of player unknowns battlegrounds crash frequently as they do with my friends. We play on Xbox ones

    Always online experience broken.

    i purchased my ipad around the same time as my xbox one and i've rebooted it more times then my xbox. i also have safari crash on it several times a day, injustice doens't work with cloud saves, TWD and TWAU both crash during gameplay frequently. and i'm
    low on storage already. and it cost the same as my xbox. maybe i should *** at apple

    Instant on has been broken since the last update. Switch it off and lose the benefits or get used to lots of hard resets.

    What makes it worse is MS completely ignore the issue, won't even acknowledge there's a problem, so we have no idea if it'll be fixed, despite loads of threads on here about the same issue.

    I want to buy this, except,,,

    In my experience, it's very playable and the issues are far far less frequent than they were on day one. Based on my experience, I'd recommend it. It's a stellar game when going awhile without a crash.

    All my games are crashing to dashboard as well... And hard reboot helps 45 mins tops...And Mister Urkel every person in this forum is saying there being booted/crashed to the dashboard from in game..I see no different complaints in here. .. Just one...y
    is our $500 console booting/crashing to the dashboard on every game? There's enough complaints just on this forum to have this issue brought to someone's attention in the tech department. . Please!
