my xbox one feels really hot is it ok?

i just recently got an xbox one (refurbrished) and it works but it seem to get really hot so much that i cannot put my hand on it for more than 10 seconds i dont know if this is normal for an xbox one . Of course it is summer and it is hot and things get
hotter in summer but is it normal? i just want to know because im getting really worried

PS: also there is nothing on top or obstructing the ventilation of my xbox also i have it on top of a wide table with just my tv and xbox on it with plenty of space.

Xbox RRoD (Unknow)

I've been playing Xbox 360 (pro) for a few hours and the console decided to throw me RRoD. I'm not sure what might've caused, but when I feel my power supply, it's really really hot.

Any one know about it? Thanks!

 

My Xbox really hot!!!!!

My xbox gets really hot when i play games only and the cooling fan will not speed up to cool it down im scared it might start a fire is there a way to fix this without overclocking my fan?

 

Afraid that is not normal can you hear the fan working, I think you need it checked out.

 

no i cannot hear the fan but i can feel it shooting air from the top of the console

 

As you say we are having some hot weather, Be sure not to leave it switch on and left unattended.

 

yes i always go for full shutdown and unplug the power supply. just for reference we are around 30 to 35 degrees celcius daily were im at (somedays 40+ celcius) just want to know if this amount of heat on the console is normal the heat is concentrated on
top of the console were the fan is i pressume. the bottom part of the console is hot as well but not nearly as much. i have the xbox 360 and it would shut down on me only in the summer in autum winter and spring it works well but even when the 360 shut down
it did not feel nearly as hot as my xbox one does right now.

 

Is the console in a well vented area?
