My xbox one elite controller grips all peeled off and the right thumbstick is broken/loose

Hey i have a xbox one elite controller that started peeling off, at first it was just a tiny bit and i tried to add a tiny bit of glue but then every part of it peeled off aswell and even tho this affected me mentally considering how much i paid for it and
my ocd to have everything intact i sorta didnt want to send the controller to fix just because of that or something but then my right thumbstick broke/loose or idk and that does affect gameplay, im not even a massive gamer anymore this controller havent had
any intensive gaming to it and i never dropped it or anything, it doesnt explain it falling appart from all sides like that =/ i would like to know if theres a way to have microsoft fix it or something, its still under warranty but in the website i only find
assistance for controllers associated to a xbox one but i never bought any xbox one, i just bought this controller to play on pc as my old xbox 360 one broke, i would love some assistance on this, thanks

If you have a broken Elite controller that's out of warranty contact MS support

I bought my Elite controller well over a year ago and I had a broken right thumbstick and the grips were peeling off. Someone told me that MS would replace it with a new one even if it's out of warranty, I contacted them, showed them a proof of purchase, sent them my defective controller and they sent me a brand new one. So just a heads up if any of you are having problems with an out of warranty Elite controller.

I don't know where is the "elite" on a controller with so many flaws. My elite controller rubber grips become loose and are opened. I am a casual gamer and take excellent care of my stuff. It looks more like its a manufacturing flaw. We will know for sure
if their engineering team fixed this when they launch the new Xbox One S which comes with a controller that features rubber grips same as the elite.

As long as it is in warranty, I cant see why it would be a problem.

Your best bet here is to speak to Microsoft Support directly though as they could better advise you.

 

Thank you for the answer my problem is that i cant find a way to send the controller or contact without owning a xbox one, as its asked when i try to apply the repair assistance
