    My xbox one does not update the games or the software. I don't know what else to do. I have no support from anywhere. Some games to request an update you can't finish it. They lock in 100% and do not work, and it is necessary that I delete the game and download
    again. I don't know what else to do ... Also I can no longer update the console online. I'm upset with microsoft.

    Downloaded software also installs itself on another Xbox One

    Hi,

    If I download software (free or purchased) on my Xbox One, the same software also downloads and installs itself on another Xbox One in the same house.

    The other Xbox One does not have my profile on it.

    If it's turned off completely then maybe it would be ok. But, in standby it does automatic updates, game and software patches ect... So personally I would not put a pillow case over my xbox one.

    The updates are system updates and the latest one that went out last night resolves just the issue you are raising. The update will apply itself rather than waiting to be turned on again to complete the update.

    ^^this is game development software provided to the game developers. They get the updated software tools and use them to craft games. Does not effect gaming consoles other than better crafted games. The SDK update is for the developers not the end users
