    My Xbox One disconnects from Live when trying to install something


    Every time I try to install games, apps or add-ons the percentage stops randomly and it keeps saying Connect to Xbox Live on the home screen. I have to add my wireless network again, but 5-10 mins later it just disconnects again. It's annoying because
    my internet speed is good, between 50 - 70 mbps download speed, but with this issue a 20 minute download can become a 1 hour situation. Please help?

    have you tried powercycling the xbox by holding the power button for 5-10 seconds to see if it fixes the issue

    Hi Misses Joust.... no, we were installing from a disc and it wouldn't move beyond 0%, and when I looked on the forums it said to disconnect from Xbox Live and the network and it would install, but when we were disconnected from Xbox Live and the network
    it wouldn't, it kept saying Installation Stopped, please sign into Xbox Live.

    Playing new games this can't be the way it's supposed to be.

    Ok first things first. When you go to install the game make sure you disconnect your Xbox One from the internet. There is a 16 gig patch that was the MP part of the game that is installed initially when connecting to Xbox Live. If you disconnect your
    Xbox from Xbox live and install the game first then update then it should go much faster. Hallo MCC is like a 65 + gig game.

    Hi Forever.

    The next game you load onto your ONE... disconnect from XBox LIVE first.

    Then let the game install.

    Then reconnect to the internet and let the updates happen.

    It takes longer when it's trying to install the disc and the game at the same time.
