My Xbox one deleted my entire Modern Warfare game...

Went to play last night, and there was an update file for COD, 2.5gig. it was frozen so I paused it, and above the file I pressed clear all, with the intention of removing the frozen download and restarting it. after this, I couldn't find where to restart
the update download, so I went into the store and opened the modern warfare page, which showed that I already owned this item. on the right it said install. I figured ive installed it already so clicked install thinking it would just do the update file. nope,
suddenly i'm downloading the full 79.80gigabyte file all over again. I was up to level 39. absolutely fuming about it. i'm assuming that when I finally finish RE-downloading the game and sign it with my activision account details, it will remember where I
was up to in the game and my rank etc.

Thanks for your post. I understand you are missing your in-game progress for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Your progress in a game is automatically uploaded to the cloud when the Xbox is connected to the internet. If your game's progress is not showing properly,
you may want to try clearing your local saved games. This will force your game to resync your saves and restore your progress.

To clear your local saved games, follow these steps:

Enter your Settings
Select System
Choose Storage
Select Clear local saved games
Agree to clear local saved games & Restart

Game saves are stored on the cloud so once you start the game up it will resync with your data.

If an update is cancelled, the system will uninstall the whole game.

I’m currently having the same problem. I tried to update call of duty modern warfare, but it refuses to update. I canceled the update and uninstall the entire game, I am even went as far as to factory reset my Xbox. But to no prevail I am unable to install
call of duty modern warfare.

Yeah. I purchased Modern Warfare for the Xbox One played it when it was new finish playing so deleted it and now I can't find it.

It appears in my order history but not in my Owned Games on the Xbox
