My Xbox One controller.

My Xbox One controller won't come on. I've changed the batteries. I've plugged it up with a micro usb and reset and power cycled my Xbox. What it's doing is the xbox button won't even light up or anything. Please help.

Plug and play kit

Does anyone have a plug and play kit that they use with their Xbox one S controller?

Bought one as a gift for Xmas, but it isn't charging in the Xbox one S controller for some reason, but works fine with my standard Xbox one controller.

Any ideas?

Xbox one controller

So I went on the repair page for replacing my broken xbox controller and on one of the steps it gives me an option to choose a replacement controller. Theres 4 options xbox one controller, xbox one controller 3.55mm, xbox one controller 3.55mm v2 black
and xbox one controller 3.55mm v2 white. Are the v2 controllers the latest ones.

Can you double-check that the batteries are the right way around?

Aside from that it sounds like you may need to look into getting a replacement controller from the retailer.

I just got the Xbox One this morning. I used the controller once and went to unplug the microphone and it shut off completely.

I just bought a brand new xbox one today and the controller that came with it is broke

i'm pretty sure i narrowed it down to it simply being that the home button doesn't work. Its broken. I've set up a service request but its BS, considering they want ME to pay for shipping. Thats not happening as this is the second time this has happened.
Last year, this same time i bought another xbox one and its KINECT wouldn't work. Fresh out the box just like the controller. Needless to say i'm *** off. Their support is a joke. I only can hope this gets a response

I wish you could use a Xbox 360 controller on the Xbox one controller. I like my
Xbox 360 controller more then my Xbox one controller. i don't think anyone(Microsoft of controller
manufacturers) will do Backward compatible controllers.

My Controller for my xbox One is fine, its a “Day One” Controller and still works fine :/.

I want to play an Xbox 360 game with split-screen on my Xbox One X. For the primary account signed in, I can use the wireless Xbox One controller that came with my Xbox One X. But I would like a guest to be able to use one of my Xbox 360 controllers, as
I only have one Xbox One controller. I have a 3rd party (USB) wired and other official wireless Xbox 360 controllers.

I tried using both of these Xbox 360 controllers to try and connect to the Xbox One X using the sync feature but none of them connected. The lights on the Xbox 360 controllers just flash infinitely.

I did hear that Xbox 360 controllers are not compatible with Xbox One’s but does this apply to the Xbox One X as well?

I also tried using the stream Xbox → Windows 10 feature and plugged in my 3rd party USB Xbox 360 controller to my PC which did connect to my Xbox though streaming, however it kept overriding my Xbox One controller by connecting as player 1. I
need it so one of them is player 1 and the other as player 2 so two of us can play split screen.

Is this at all possible, using an Xbox One and Xbox 360 controller?

Maybe you can achieve this using console streaming to PC and connecting both controller to your PC, so the PC have 2 different controllers plugged in and you can use with 2 different player.

As additional info, every Xbox One wireless controller can work as a wired one using a simple USB cable.
